விமர்சனம்....!

The RSS song is actually “Namaste Sada Vatsale”. Have they ever sung Vande Mataram in any RSS shakha? Have they ever even discussed Vande Mataram? Yet today they are trying to steal the legacy of sacrifice, struggle and dedication that belongs to the Congress.

Vande Mataram is the song of the Congress during the freedom movement. RSS had no association with the freedom struggle, they didn’t even hoist the tricolour for decades. Now, they want to use Vande Mataram for pushing their own agenda.

On the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram, the BJP is turning government programmes into a party promotion event  whereas this song has been sung at every Congress session since 1896.

This legacy belongs to the Congress, this legacy belongs to the nation and we will not allow anyone to erase it or steal it.
